Introduction

Like injection grouting, PU grouting is a specialised process of injecting the waterproofing resin - Polyurethane, under high pressure to fill gaps & voids under slabs, concrete joints etc. to stop any water seepage. PU grouting has a very good life span and is therefore an effective method to repair any ongoing water leakage. The resins chemically react with water to expand in volume, eventually blocking the pores and voids. The strong adhesive property of polyurethane creates a strong bond with the cement to make the grouting last for years. Polyurethanes are plastics, more specifically, elastomeric polymers, that includes rubber. Polyurethane is exceptionally versatile, durable, flexible, adaptable, and resilient.
